The Solatube 290ISn brings bright, consistent natural light to kitchens, family rooms, primary bathrooms, garages, high ceilings, and other larger spaces. Its integrated Solar NightLight provides gentle illumination after dark, while two extension tubes add reach for longer roof-to-ceiling runs.
The advanced rooftop dome and highly reflective tubing capture and transfer daylight without the extensive framing or major structural modifications typically required for a traditional skylight.

The Solar NightLight and two 20-inch extension tubes are included. Together with the tubing supplied by the top and bottom assemblies, this kit supports a maximum tube run of 58 inches.

Plan your installation
Installation instructions and roof setup
Choose the flashing that matches your roof pitch and covering, then confirm local code requirements and your installation plan before beginning. Allow at least 2–3 hours for installation, particularly for a first installation.

Warranty

Love how efficient they are!
We just had our fifth solar tube system and we couldn't be happier. We save so much money on electricity and our house is always bright in the day, and we have automatic nightlights for nighttime. Highly recommended!

Home feels so alive and bright!
I have enjoyed the 2 lights in my kitchen. They have really brightened up a dark room. The night lights are very useful, and I had not even planned on using them. I am considering putting one in the bathroom. All in all, a great addition to my home.

Night light feature is so nice!
We have 5 solar tubes in our home and they're awesome. We also have the nightlight option, which makes it great at night to see without turning on a light. The nightlight option more than paid for itself because that makes the whole cost eligible for the federal energy credit.

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I finally did it and I'm very pleased with the result. It functions perfectly in a space that needed extra lighting. I am looking forward to endless days of sunlight - and moonlight!
