The Solatube 290DS brings bright, consistent natural light to kitchens, family rooms, primary bathrooms, garages, high ceilings, and other larger spaces, with two extension tubes included for installations that need added reach.
Its advanced rooftop dome and highly reflective tubing capture and transfer daylight without the extensive framing or major structural modifications typically required for a traditional skylight.

Two 20-inch extension tubes are included. Together with the tubing supplied by the top and bottom assemblies, this kit supports a maximum tube run of 58 inches.

Plan your installation
Installation instructions and roof setup
Choose the flashing that matches your roof pitch and covering, then confirm local code requirements and your installation plan before beginning. Allow at least 2–3 hours for installation, particularly for a first installation.

Warranty

I am very pleased with my Solatube.
I have very dreary north facing living and family rooms plus our kitchen. I constantly had the lights on to brighten up the rooms. I am very pleased with how everything turned out. Two of the 3 sets have solar night lights which are great!! I wake up each morning thinking the lights are on.

A great light solution!
Solatube is the best home project I’ve done since I moved into my house 9 years ago! My kitchen was so dark that I would have to turn on the lights during the day. When I found about solar tunnels, I was originally going to buy a knockoff from home depot. I am already thinking about where I could put my next Solatube.
