The HVHZ has advanced hurricane-resistant materials and includes an inner shock dome that meets the code requirements for High Velocity Wind Zone areas such as South Florida and Texas. This means that you can be confident that your skylight meets all the necessary safety standards for your region. Even if you don't live in an area with these code requirements, the HVHZ model still provides an extra layer of protection against extreme forces.
