Available for 10-inch (160 DS) and 14-inch (290 DS) Daylighting Systems
Enhance your Solatube system with added fire protection for homes in wildfire-prone regions. The Rooftop Fire Glazing accessory is engineered to meet stringent building codes for high fire risk and Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) zones.
Featuring a multi-pane glass construction, it includes:
- A fully tempered outer layer
- Two laminated inner layers bonded with a PVB interlayer
- A durable steel outer ring for added structural integrity
This advanced glazing design meets ANSI Z97.1 safety glazing standards and is used in combination with the Solatube Dome Edge Protection Band to meet prescriptive fire code requirements.
