EPS Focus · Whole House Fan · Up to 500 sq. ft.

Room-by-room fresh-air ventilation with a compact footprint.

The Solatube EPS Focus is a direct-mount whole house fan for bedrooms, offices, laundry rooms, home gyms, and other spaces up to 500 sq. ft.

Its compact circular design draws cooler outdoor air through an open window, moves warm room air into the attic, and can operate with the room door closed when the room has adequate inlet ventilation.

  • 259 maximum CFM
  • 30 dB sound level
  • One-speed remote included

Plan before ordering: EPS Focus requires approximately 1 sq. ft. of net-free attic ventilation, at least 20 inches of vertical attic clearance, accessible electrical power, and an open window in the room during operation.

Comfort on your terms

Exchange trapped indoor heat for fresh outdoor air

Use one EPS Focus for a problem room or combine multiple units to create a room-by-room ventilation plan tailored to the home.

Room-by-room control

Ventilate a single problem room or install multiple Focus units to build a customized whole-home solution.

Door-closed operation

Maintain privacy while ventilating a room, provided an open window supplies adequate replacement air.

Remote operation

Use the included one-speed remote from its wall mount or remove it and keep it nearby.

Efficient EC motor

The 14-watt brushless motor delivers targeted airflow with low energy use.

Quiet performance

The circular direct-mount design operates at 30 dB, making it suited to bedrooms, offices, and similar spaces.

Clean ceiling finish

The slim, round intake grille has no visible fasteners for a discreet finished appearance.

Compact direct-mount design

Targeted ventilation

How EPS Focus refreshes an individual room

  1. Open a window in the room. Place the fan away from the window to help create a cross breeze.
  2. Turn on the fan. The ceiling intake pulls warm room air into the attic as fresh outdoor air enters through the window.
  3. Exhaust through the attic. The displaced air exits through properly sized attic vents.

EPS Focus can operate with the room door closed, but it still requires an open window and adequate attic exhaust ventilation. It does not refrigerate or dehumidify the air like an air conditioner.
