EPS Plus · Whole House Fan · 1,000–2,200 sq. ft. homes

Powerful fresh-air cooling for medium-size homes.

The Solatube EPS Plus draws cooler outdoor air through open windows and moves accumulated indoor heat into the attic, where it exits through the home's attic vents.

Its EC brushless motor, seven variable speeds, insulated ducting, and HushMount™ 2 system deliver strong whole-home airflow with precise control and reduced vibration.

  • 2,502 maximum CFM
  • Seven variable speeds
  • Comfort Control Remote included

Plan before ordering: EPS Plus requires approximately 4 sq. ft. of net-free attic ventilation, adequate attic space for the fan and duct path, accessible electrical power, and open windows during operation.

Comfort on your terms

Exchange trapped indoor heat for fresh outdoor air

Use the EPS Plus when outdoor conditions are cooler than the air inside your home to improve comfort and reduce reliance on air conditioning.

Whole-home airflow

Moves up to 2,502 CFM through medium-size homes and helps release heat accumulated during the day.

Seven-speed control

Choose lower airflow for everyday ventilation or increase the speed when you want a faster air exchange.

Remote operation

The included Comfort Control Remote lets you turn the fan on and adjust airflow without accessing the attic.

Efficient EC motor

The brushless motor and Soft Start technology provide efficient operation and a smooth ramp to the selected speed.

Reduced vibration

HushMount™ 2, Jet Blade design, and insulated ducting work together to reduce transmitted sound and vibration.

Clean ceiling finish

The fastener-free intake grille provides a finished appearance and removes easily for sink or dishwasher cleaning.

Engineered Performance Series

Power, insulation, and control in one system

  • EC brushless motor with Soft Start technology
  • Jet Blade fan design for high airflow
  • HushMount™ 2 vibration-isolation assembly
  • Seven-foot insulated duct
  • R6 insulated damper doors
  • Removable, dishwasher-safe ceiling grille

A complete air exchange

How a whole house fan cools and ventilates

  1. Open selected windows. Use the system when outdoor air is cooler than the indoor air.
  2. Turn on the fan. The ceiling intake draws fresh outdoor air through the living space.
  3. Release trapped heat. Warm indoor air moves into the attic and exits through properly sized attic vents.

A whole house fan depends on open windows and adequate attic exhaust ventilation. It does not refrigerate or dehumidify the air like an air conditioner.

Whole house fan is amazing at quickly drawing cooler outdoor air into the house. It will come in very handy during those hot summer nights when it’s cooler outside. Very happy with my experience.

We got a whole house fan from them, and they were wonderful. The fan cools the house quickly for a two-story house very quickly.
